Curtis 300 Bar High Pressure Wash Module
Description:

Rail Flushing Machine with High Pressure Lance

Suitable for use in a clean room environment, with the power pack unit, housing main fluid reservoir with filtration external to the room. The machine has two independent stations each capable of running a separate product simultaneously

Component types:

        Spherical rails

        Tubular rails

  • Body before assembly with or without jets
  • As an assembly with or without jets (excluding the lance)

  • Body before assembly with or without jets
  • As an assembly with or without jets (excluding the lance)
  • maximum tubular rail body length: 500 mm
  • maximum tubular assembly length: 600 mm
Cleanliness:
  • Typical cleanliness of parts supplied to m/c i.e. before flush, Class 7:- 600m m, 15mg/1000cm2
  • Cleanliness of parts from flushing bench, Class 1: 150m m, 2mg/1000cm2

Flushing capacity
  • Flush through lance – high pressure/low volume - rotational + linear axis movement with NC for both linear and rotary axes
  • Pressure = 300 bar, Flow = 7 litres per min per rail
  • Back flushing – high volume/low pressure – through programmed control valves
  • Pressure = 100 bar, Flow = 100 litres per min per rail, Final Air purge – final flush Pressure = 4-5 bar (factory supply)
Flushing Rig
  • Stainless steel construction machine frame with tooling blocks etc. electro-plated as appropriate.
  • Twin fixture working area can run with any combination of tooling types, can run independently, simultaneously or individually.
  • Flexible cycle start sequence will allow twin load/unload, individual load/unload or single load/unload.
  • Foot print 1.3m x 1.3m
  • Vapour extraction point to outside the clean room from rig
External Power Pack
  • Oil foam eliminator
  • Easy clean tanks
  • Ease for maintenance on all parts
  • Level controls on all tanks for warning and e-stop
  • Constant temperature monitoring at critical points would allow safety shutdown for over temp.
  • Pressure and flow monitored and displayed on operator interface status bar.
  • Power pack footprint approximately 2 m square.
The cleaning fluid employed is ISO test oil. The standard system is not suitable for water based wash fluid. A new system suitable for aqueous solutions is under development and should be available Spring 2006. The cleanliness standard depends on the nature of the contamination in the components before washing, and the length of time taken for washing
